In the dark of the night, May it come, Seep into your soul, And take everything away. Safety gone. Fear draws in. Sleep is not your friend. Bright colours surround, The loss of people, Blood and darkness. They live inside your head. Waiting for the night to come out. Feeding on your fear. You can't get away now, Nowhere is safe. Reality is too harsh, And sleeping causes too much pain. To my dear, beautiful nightmares. May you come into my sleep tonight. Wake me up. Let me cry. Never let me find a place to escape.
